This page summarises the key terms of Ride Sure Assist membership. You are asked to read and accept the membership terms before you pay.
Your Membership
- Single-Bike Membership: recovery membership for one registered motorcycle. £6 a month, or £60 a year paid upfront in one payment.
- Multi-Bike Membership: up to three registered motorcycles under one membership. £10 a month, or £100 a year paid upfront in one payment.
- Membership renews automatically until you cancel: monthly memberships are charged every month and annual memberships every year, using the card you joined with.
- Membership is held by one named member and covers the motorcycles registered to it.
- Membership starts 12 hours after your first successful payment. Your confirmation page, confirmation email and member account show the exact date and time.
- Recovery in the first 12 hours after joining is not part of membership. We can still help, as a separately charged call-out of £50 to £75 depending on the time of the call, and we will confirm the charge before recovery.
- Every membership has its own Membership Number (for example RSA-1001), shown in your confirmation email, on your membership card and in your member account. Have it ready when you call.
- Your order summary shows the payment terms you are agreeing to, including the number of monthly payments, before you pay.
Who And What Can Be Covered
- Riders aged 16 and over.
- Motorcycles weighing no more than 300kg.
- Trikes and other three-wheeled vehicles are not covered.
Where We Operate
We currently operate across North Wales, the North West, North East, Midlands and Cumbria, extending north to Glasgow. Additional coverage in South Wales and southern England is being arranged. Please contact us before joining if you are unsure whether your home address or regular riding area falls within our current service area.
Recovery from a breakdown location within 150 miles of your registered home address is included, subject to the current service area and membership terms. Additional mileage charges may apply beyond this distance and will be agreed before recovery.
What Is Included
- Roadside breakdown recovery and accident recovery.
- Puncture and battery assistance. We will discuss what has happened when you call and explain the assistance or recovery arrangements.
- Fuel assistance, within a 50-mile service limit. We will confirm availability and any charge when you call.
- Recovery to your registered home address, with transport for you and your pillion if needed.
- Up to three call-outs per membership year. On Multi-Bike membership they are shared across your registered motorcycles.
Good To Know
- Parts, replacement tyres and replacement batteries are paid for separately; we’ll explain any cost before work goes ahead.
- Faults that existed before your membership started, and a breakdown that happened before it started, are not covered.
- Track days and off-road riding are not covered; ask us about track and off-road options.
- Membership covers recovery from UK roads.
- Recovery outside the current service area, or beyond 150 miles, may carry additional charges agreed before recovery.
Payments, Changes And Cancelling
Recovery benefits depend on your membership payments being up to date. If a payment does not go through, we will contact you and explain how to put it right. To change a registered motorcycle or your address, send a change request through the contact page and the team will update your record. To cancel, send a cancellation request through the contact page (we confirm cancellations in writing), or call us. Your statutory cancellation rights are not affected.
